And I am certainly not an angel, but I know some who will surely one day house angels, because I was received as if I were really an important person. When I first arrived in Germany, a nice couple told me that I was like a grandson to them, and that they love me, without really knowing me, and without really knowing much about me. And that was very, very nice for me.
Last week I received a nice package. But not for me, for my daughter. What was inside? A self-made bed cover. A dear sister from our parish made it as a sign of love, as a sign of respect for us. We were very happy about that.
I have already seen various acts of mercy in my life, but actually little in the church itself, more in the interpersonal life, where people helped each other selflessly and selflessly. There are many acts of mercy. There are also different ways. If I help an old woman across the street, then that is also an act of mercy for me.
