Frostbite

Okay, here's something I bet you didn't know. You can get frostbite in water if it has salt and ice in it. Funny story, my daughter was at her friend's house and they were making homemade ice cream and they had the icy salt water that had been left around the outside of the ice cream container and the dad said they thought it would be funny to have a competition to see who could leave their hand in the water the longest. And so everybody went and most people lasted like 10 or 15 seconds but my daughter was determined to win. She put her arm in and she stayed in there for like a minute and when she got out her arm was all red and splotchy and it looked weird and it had like a burn on it and it actually the skin peeled and it got scabby and it was quite painful and after researching come to find out it's frostbite and that can happen so don't let your kids mess with the water after you make homemade ice cream.
