I was in Fiji during one cyclone, although I was on the side of the island that didn't get hit as bad. So mostly just a ton of crazy wind and rain and then we helped with a lot of cleanup afterwards. There was this other fun day where we were out walking from one village to another and we see people running down the road like back towards us and past us and we're like, what's going on? And we look ahead and there's this really gray wall and as we hit it we pull our umbrellas out and pointed them straight forward and the rain came at us horizontally straight at us and was like collapsing our umbrellas on us but we just like stayed in our umbrellas as we kept walking forward and it was uh really intense. We got pretty wet during the wet season, December, kind of American winter. We went outside and it was sunny and as clear as can be. 10 minutes later it's dumping rain and then it cleared up and evaporated it again and it kept that cycle so it stayed really hot and humid for the whole day.
