One of my favorite scriptures is Acts 10 38, which says how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power Who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil for God was with him I really love this scripture because It reminds me that one of our purposes in life is just to do good and that no matter what we do We don't have to be perfect. We just have to go about doing good

One of my all-time favorite chapters in the Book of Mormon is Alma 36. In this section, Alma, who is an outrageously sinful man, has an experience where he is called to repentance by the Lord. And at first, it's an agonizing experience, but I want to read this part to you. He says, Now as my mind caught hold upon this thought, I cried within my heart, O Jesus, thou Son of God, have mercy on me, who am in the gall of bitterness and am encircled about by everlasting chains of death. And now, behold, when I thought this, I can remember my pains no more. And that's a commonly known scripture in our church, but it has special meaningful impact on me because I know how much I need the Savior.

Favorite scripture, probably just the entire chapter of Alma 7, which kind of talks about the atonement of Jesus Christ, everything he kind of went through, and what he had to go through for us, and kind of explains why he went through all of that so we can, through him, become pure and become, you know, children of a Heavenly Father, and that we can return to him someday. So I just really like it. It's the whole chapter. I don't know if I can choose a specific scripture.

One of my favorite scriptures is found in the four gospels. In this story, Jesus heals a man blind from birth, and I like how this story shows how the man gains a testimony quickly from how Jesus of Nazareth to him becomes the son of God. One of my favorite scriptures of all time has to do with the set of scriptures concerning the prophet Abinadi in the Book of Mormon, who was one of the best examples of courage I've ever seen, never known about in my entire life. He stood up to the wicked priests of King Noah, as well as King Noah, and even went down to his death, even by fire. Courageous man. That's very, very well done.

One of my favorite scriptures is in John chapter 14 verse 6 and it says Jesus saith unto him I am the way the truth and the life no man cometh unto the Father but by me and I just love that scripture because it's just like really it just explains like that Jesus is the way the truth in the life and no man cometh unto the Father but by me and it's just Telling that he is the way the truth and the life and Yeah, that's my favorite scripture John 14 6

One of my favorite scriptures ever is in John chapter 1. It's verses 43 through 51, and it talks about how Nathaniel is talking to Jesus, and Jesus tells Nathaniel how he saw Nathaniel underneath the fig tree. And this meant a lot to Nathaniel, and I think this is so powerful because Nathaniel was probably in strong prayer, and Jesus Christ helped Nathaniel to see that Jesus Christ heard his prayers. And also, Jesus Christ helps him to understand that if he can do this, then he can do anything. So it's a very powerful scripture.

One of my favorite scriptures is Matthew 19, 26. Jesus said to them with man this isn't possible, but with God all things are true, all things are possible. This really helps me to know that God is the supreme creator and we cannot even compare to him.

My favorite scripture is Mosiah 2, chapter 2, 41. It talks about the blessed and happy state of those that choose to keep the commandments of God, and it promises that if we are obedient and we do what God has asked, that we can live in a state of never-ending happiness with God. And that just sounds so happy to me, obviously. That's kind of the ending that I seek for, and it makes obedience, even though sometimes it feels tough, seem like a small thing in comparison to the blessings that come when we choose to be obedient.

My favorite scripture is from the Sermon on the Mount when the Savior says to consider the lilies of the field how they toil not neither do they spin and that just reminds me that the Savior is taking care of me and doesn't want me to worry about things that aren't in my control.

One of my favorite scriptures is from the Book of Mormon and it is from Mosiah chapter 24 verses 13 through 14. I think my all-time favorite chapter in the Book of Mormon is in 2nd Nephi chapter 4. I think it's commonly referred to as Nephi's psalm and I just feel like I relate to Nephi so much in this situation where I feel like I'm not good enough, I'm not measuring up, but I know in whom I'm trusted and I just really love that chapter.

My favorite scripture is Proverbs 3, 5 through 6. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. That's my favorite scripture because it applies to any time in my life. Whether life seems pretty easy, and I just need a reminder to look unto Christ, it applies then, or if life's really hard, it reminds me that he's the one that can get me through all my trials.

A scripture that really struck me in my reading this week was Alma 37 34 and it says, teach them to never be weary of good works but to be meek and lowly in heart for such shall find rest their souls. So what really stood out to me about this scripture was the part that says never be weary of good works. I think sometimes we can feel really drained by all of our callings and all of the constraints on our time and we can just want to have some time for ourselves and so we might say today's not the day for me to serve, today is not a day for me to look outside of myself, but we forget that the needs that people have are different from day to day. There may be someone out there who needs you that day more than ever and if you're not open to the promptings of the Spirit to help them then they'll just not receive that help that you could have given them. So just always be aware of those promptings and always look to

I wanted to share my favorite scripture. It's in the Book of Mormon. It's in Moroni chapter 10 verse 32. It says, Yea, come unto Christ and be perfected in him and deny yourselves of all ungodliness. And if ye shall deny yourselves of all ungodliness and love God with all your might, mind, and strength, then is his grace sufficient for you, that by his grace ye may be perfect in Christ. And if by the grace of God ye are perfect in Christ, ye can in no ways deny the power of God.

My favorite scripture is from the Book of Mormon, which is just another testament of Jesus Christ, but it's Omni 126, and it says, And now, my beloved brethren, I would that you should come unto Christ, who is the Holy One of Israel, and ye partake of his salvation, yea, even the power of his redemption. Continue in fasting and praying and enduring to the end, and as the Lord liveth, ye will be saved.

My favorite scripture is Isaiah 53 verses 3 through 5, which says, I just love that scripture because I feel like it encaptures the atonement of Jesus Christ and his sacrifice for us. It really makes me grateful for what he did for me and what he did for you.

Alma chapter 7 verse 24, I think it is. It's see that you have faith, hope, and charity and you will always abound in good works. It's short, it's simple, but it means a lot. If you have faith in Jesus Christ, have the hope that everything will be okay, everything will work out despite everything getting in the way and coming down on you. Having the hope that things will work out and putting this faith and hope into action, you know, forgetting about yourself, thinking about others, going out and helping other people, talk to other people, just be a good friend, a good neighbor, or whatever the case may be. And we abound in good works. We find ourselves doing all these great things, which is what God expects of us. He doesn't expect us to get rich. He wants us to do the right thing.

My favorite scriptures in the Book of Mormon in Alma 36 24 and it says, Yea, from that time until now I have labored without ceasing that I might bring souls to repentance, that I might bring them to taste of the exceeding joy of which I did taste, that they might also be born of God and be filled with the Holy Ghost. I really like this scripture because Alma had just finished talking to his son Helaman about his past experiences and his repentance and after that he started his missionary work and he started bringing many souls into repentance. And this just reminds me that I, after becoming a member of the church, I have started to grow testimony that I should share it with other people so they can also have a change of heart and also come and partake of the fruit of which I did take.

One of my favorite scriptures is in Mark 8 verse 35. It says, For whosoever will save his life shall lose it, but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the Gospels, the same shall save it. So it just kind of helps me realize that if I want to make the most out of my life, the best way to do that is to really devote myself to Christ and his Gospel and helping others come unto him.

I really love the first Nephi, which is the first section of the Book of Mormon. So I really love the stories because it contains like a discussion with Nephi and other his brothers and how he overcame obstacles and struggles with the help of God and then how they escaped from Jerusalem to the promised land which is in the American continent. It's according to the commandments of God and the story contains a lot of things like that and then you will know and you will enjoy the story and then the commandments that Nephi's family were given. So I think that's my favorite scriptures.

My favorite scripture is Isaiah 41 10 which says fear thou not for I am with thee, be not dismayed for I am thy God, I will strengthen thee, yea I will help thee, yea I will uphold thee in the right hand of my righteousness. And I love the scripture because it just reminds me that God is always in our corner to help us and that he's always with us no matter what even in the dark times and even in the happy times he's celebrating with us as well. So it's just a great reminder for me and I actually have a necklace that has that scripture engraved into it so I that's why I like the scripture.

My favorite scripture is 2 Nephi chapter 4 verse 20 and it says my God has been my support. He led me through my afflictions and the wilderness and he has preserved me upon the waters of the great deep. I love that. I think that every single person goes through difficulties, they go through hard times, they feel like they're in a deep place and they need his support and his love and they can always have it because he's always there.

All right, my favorite scripture is Ether 1227, which says that, if men will come unto me, meaning God, then he will show unto them their weakness. It says that God gives men weakness that they may be humble, and all those who come to Christ with those humilities and have faith in him, then God will make those weak things become strong unto them. And I really like that because as a human, like we're all human, we all have weaknesses, but through Christ, and if we have faith in Christ, we will be able to make those weaknesses into strengths. And I believe that this is through the atonement of Jesus Christ.

One of my favorite scriptures is Alma chapter 36 verse 20. In this, Alma is talking to his son Helaman, and he's describing his repentance process as he came to know Christ. And he says that after he had repented, his soul was filled with joy as exceeding as was his pain. This resonates a lot with me because, like a lot of people, I felt that kind of harrowing up of the soul that Alma felt when I know that I've done something wrong. But I've also felt, like Alma, that joy that comes from repentance. And I know that it's true that through the atonement of Jesus Christ that we can we can come back and we can have joy no matter our circumstances. And I love that. I love Alma's example of repentance.

One of my favorite scriptures is in 3 Nephi chapter 17 verse 6 and it's when Jesus Christ has come and he's visiting the people in the Americas after he has been resurrected and I love this verse because He's about to leave after he's talked to them and he notices that the people are sad and they want him to stay and so he just says my bowels are filled with compassion towards thee and he stays and Throughout the verse then he comes and he invites the people that come up and heals them and he stays with them And I think for me This is just what Christ is to me that he has always filled compassion towards us and he wants To bless us and help us in any way that he can

I love the scripture in the Gospel of Matthew where the Savior says, Come unto me all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. I just think it's great because it doesn't exclude anyone. Everyone is carrying burdens, everyone is struggling with something, and the Savior is, his invitation is for all people. Not just people who seem to have everything together in their life, but for those who are really struggling and who have real issues. And he wants all of us to come to him, and that scripture just reminds me of his nature and his love and his willingness to forgive us.

So my favorite scripture is in Doctrine and Covenants 636, and it says, look unto Christ in every thought, doubt not, fear not. And I absolutely love that scripture because it's so simple, yet it has so much power that if we just know that we need to look unto Christ, then we don't need to doubt and we don't need to fear, but it's always the doubt that comes before the fear. So when we doubt first, then that's when we're starting to fear. So if we can get rid of our doubt, then we won't have fear in our lives. And on the contrary, if we can get rid of our doubts, then we will begin to have hope and that hope comes through Christ.

Some of my favorite scriptures come from the Book of Mormon in Alma chapter 34. If you haven't read it, it's an awesome, awesome chapter. It talks a lot about repentance and the purpose of life. I think verse 31 is probably my favorite scripture. It's right before one of the most famous scriptures in there, but it talks about how if we repent then we will be immediately blessed for repenting. And then the following verse talks about a little bit the purpose of this life and that we're here to learn from our trials and come to know God. And I think that whole chapter in general just hits on a lot of cool things. It talks a lot about prayer and the atonement especially as well.

My favorite scripture is Mosiah 241, and it says, And moreover, I would desire that you should consider on the blessed and happy state of those that keep the commandments of God. For behold, they are blessed in all things, both temporal and spiritual. And if they hold out faithful to the end, they are thereby received into heaven, that they may dwell with God in a state of never-ending happiness. Oh, remember, remember that these things are true, for the Lord God has spoken it. And I love that scripture because it just shows us that the joy that we can receive from keeping the commandments and following the plan of salvation and God's plan is insurmountable. Think of the happiest thing we've ever experienced in our lives and multiply that by infinity, and that'll be how happy we can be forever and ever.

So my favorite scripture is 3rd Nephi chapter 11 verses 9 through 11. It's my favorite scripture because it's the Savior coming to the Americas and telling us who He is and why He's there and what He's done for us. And I just, every time I read it I'm reminded of how much the Savior really has done for us and how much He loves us and that He is willing to do the will of the Father in all things. And I just think that is so cool. And if we can follow that example then we can be blessed beyond measure. And I know that Jesus Christ lives and this scripture really helps me to know that that He does live and that He loves me and that He loves each and every one of God's children.

One of my favorite scriptures is 2nd Timothy 1 7 and it says for God hath not given us the spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind and this is super encouraging to me because I often let fear get in my way and I often stress myself out over things and that is not what God intends for me, but he has given me this powerful spirit and he's on my side. So how could I fail? You know if I'm doing righteous things and he's given me the spirit of love and that's what I should be demonstrating to the entire world, to everybody that I interact with. And finally he's also given me the gift of a sound mind and if I just remember those three promises and those three things that he has given me instead of focusing so much on the thing that he hasn't, he hasn't given me that fear then that's just super encouraging and beneficial to my own life.
