An interesting fact about England is the fact that when I got there, I didn't realize that there are so many different English accents. I thought everyone sounded like the Queen and everyone down south, and I was wrong. I served in a place called Huddersfield, which is Yorkshire, and they have their own Yorkshire accent. Later, I was transferred up to Newcastle near Scotland, and their accent is thick and really hard to understand. And so I was able to learn that there are so many different accents. Some that are easier to understand, some that are harder to understand. So that's something that I thought was really cool.
