Watch VideosSomething I did to help out with my Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome is to get a cane. Personally, my knees are affected a lot by EDS, as does my sister, and a cane helps when your hips are feeling wonky or your knees are hurting, especially in the cold, because that just exaggerates it. You might even want a walker. My sister got a wheelchair. You're not limited to a wheelchair, but it is pretty helpful for you to get some kind of walking aid, be it a cane, a wheelchair, or a walker. You can file for disability, which my sister has done, and that's also helpful.
If you're anything like me, if you have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, you're going to find that it's harder and harder for you to find modes of exercise that is comfortable for you. Something you might want to consider is swimming. Swimming is a good physical activity, and because it's in the water, it's pretty easy on your joints, which makes it a whole lot easier for people with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome to handle. That's a good idea for exercise if you would like exercise, but it is hard because of your joints.
