The currency in Ecuador is the US dollars, so you don't need to change anything, but the cost of living there, especially food, is real cheap. You can find food for $2.50, but of course you can have other things because you have a lot of American restaurants, for example, like McDonald's or Wendy's, Pizza Hut, they're gonna be as the same in the United States, but you can find fresh food for real cheap, especially fruits and vegetables. For example, if you have a dollar, you can have like five apples, six apples in here, so pretty much the cost of living is real cheap. If you want something like electronics, it's gonna be a little more expensive than the US.
