One of the great things about being a dentist is you get to know a lot of your patients really well and you become friends with them. I became friends with this cute old lady. I made dentures for her with implants and she was able to snap them in so they wouldn't slide around and we became such good friends that she ended up getting cancer at some point and she came to visit us to kind of say her last goodbyes and it was just so cute getting to know this lady in the twilight of her life and becoming such good friends that like she really just loved me and my dental assistant and when she passed away her daughter mentioned me and my assistant saying she knew or she really thought you guys would want to know that she had passed away and would love to invite you to her funeral and I went to her funeral and her daughter just hugged me and said you were one of her favorite people. It was such an awesome experience.
