It's always funny when you give them special medicine to help the patients become relaxed and most likely for something surgery related like wisdom teeth. I one time did some work on a boy who the whole time just kept saying dude this is nuts like I feel like I'm in space and another lady also said something about you know being in a rocket ship and so often now when I lower patients down I tell them welcome to earth. One time I even pulled a tooth of an elderly lady and while I wore my Halloween costume hat it was a Thor hat helmet and she thought it was really funny and we became really good friends after that.

We had a new patient come into our office that needed dentures and she said that her father-in-law had just passed away that week and asked if we could just take his old dentures and shape them to her mouth and I said no I don't I don't think that we we should use somebody else's dentures in your mouth. Wait, what?

When I was in college, it took me an extra year to get accepted into dental school, and when I finally got accepted, I was so thrilled I got the letter, and I went over to my uncle's house, who was also a dentist a few years ahead of me, and told him that I got my letter, I got accepted, and he looked at me and he said, that's wonderful. If I were me, I'd slit my wrists, and he held out his wrists kind of like that. Anyway, it was a joke. Dentistry has been a very wonderful career for him and for I.
