Basically, in my eyes of being a carer for 36 years of people with dementia, the treatment you can give is just one that postpones it. I personally feel that the best way out is to let the dementia come out in the person and just work away around their conditions because at the end of the day, medication can confuse them even more and also can make them aggressive because they're battling to how they're feeling and they can't understand how they're feeling. So the best treatment I feel you can give someone with dementia is just to be there for them, keep them in a secure place and never leave them alone and just try to understand them and go along the lonely road with them.
