Basically, it's the breakdown of the nerve ends in the brain in different sections, and each section of your brain tells different parts of your body how to react. And once the nerve ends slowly break down, which could happen at a very young age, or it could happen in later on in life, mainly later on in life as the body wears and tears. The problem with the brain, the brain tells you how your body functions, and once the nerve ends break down, then your senses no longer function. As you're thinking, eating, speaking, it all gets affected.
