If you find somebody who loves God more than you do, then you know you found a good person, which sounds really weird, but then you know that they're going to keep their covenants and that they're always going to prioritize their faith, and that's going to make your relationship so much stronger. So just find somebody who loves God just as much or more than you do.
I think that there's a lot of qualities that you could want in someone, but I think for me personally, someone that has a really strong testimony and someone that's really kind and loves their family and just a good person, puts others before themselves.

Well, I have found my perfect husband. He is absolutely amazing and what I really like about him is he was honest and frank in everything he said. He's smart, has a good job, he likes to cook, I like to dress up, not just dress up fancy but dress up in different kinds of costumes, go to different kinds of events and dress up, do crazy things together. One time, one of the scavenger hunts I did was to jump in the air and he jumped in the air and it was the biggest jump I've ever seen in my life but he's willing to get out of his norm and I'm willing to get out of my norm and to just be ourselves and just be friends and that is like so amazing. He loves to cook, he loves to do everything that I like to do plus he has other interests and we both have other interests but we like to do a lot of things together.
The main key for my future husband is he has to be my best friend at all times.
So of course there's never going to be like the perfect husband or the perfect wife. We're all still like trying to improve and become better, but definitely some qualities that I'm looking for and I think that would be wonderful for any man to have is to be true stay true to their covenants and be honest. Something that I try to do like is do something immediately so I don't forget and I'm also I think a perfect husband like when he gets home from work yes he's tired but like he's gonna ask like can I help with anything and like of course I'm gonna ask him like does he need help with anything so it's like a working relationship. We both put in effort. Definitely someone who isn't afraid to laugh with me or deadpan jokes. I'm cool with it all. Oh and to go on hikes and go camping. So great.
My idea of a perfect husband, if you've ever seen the Ken Garf advertisements on the freeway, the billboards that say stuff like, talk in circles, we love that shape. Talk in tangents, we'll follow. I just love that because that was something that I was looking for in a husband and I got him. Someone who's a good listener and compassionate and understanding and very patient. My husband has to be very patient because he married a Latina and I think I won the lottery.
I am married now, but I wanted him to love God and to have a relationship with Him, like a real relationship, not nothing pretend. I wanted him to be kind and to be gentle and to be affectionate. That was something that was really important to me and I stuck by them and that's how I met my wonderful husband.
