Super fun group date idea just to go out and go for a hike. I've done this a couple times. It's super fun. If you're looking for someone outdoorsy you kind of can see if they're outdoorsy and they like hiking. You can also beforehand, I've had people do this where they just like look up fun riddles and stuff and then you just try and figure it out as a group and stuff. It's kind of fun. You can get the conversation going and you can learn a lot about people so super fun time.
For a great group idea you guys could all go bowling and then like do like a competition whoever loses has to like make a TikTok video together which is really funny.
Some super fun group date ideas that you can do, especially here in Provo, you go to the WIC lab where you go make your own candle and this scent, that's super fun. And just outside of Provo, a really good date idea is to just make each other dinner, like have like a cook-off. I've done that before and that's been extremely fun.
Bowling is always an amazing idea for group dates.
I've been on a lot of group dates and some of my favorites have been to a baseball game or another sporting event as well as just going bowling. Anything that's competitive can be really fun. Also going on a hike or doing anything outside or even going to a food truck park. There's tons of things you can do and basically anything you could do on a one-on-one date you can do in a group and it might even be more fun.
I think just a great day idea when you're with a group of people is just to do treats and a game night. I think it's just super chill, super fun, and a great way to, you know, get to know some people.
I think that cook-offs are a great group date idea. You can go to the store, buy ingredients, come back to an apartment, and cook food. I've always found it to be really fun.
A game night is always good. A date night where you like paint is fun and you like kind of paint with the person you're on a date with. Yeah, those are really good.
Some of the best group dates that I've gone on have been either having the guys come to our apartment and then we make something, like I remember this one time we all made pizza and then basically whoever your date was you got to make a pizza with them so you got to like talk to them and kind of see what they like and don't like. Another fun group date idea I liked was actually going to an arcade. Arcades are a lot of fun, I feel like you can really have like some healthy competition and it kind of makes it so that it's not as awkward and so I think the biggest thing is just really picking out who you want to have in that group date because it can really affect kind of the dynamics but overall they can be a really good idea.
So we went to VI and bought little putters for, they were like two dollars or something. So we just got a couple of them and then we got some golf balls and took a like a red solo cup. I mean take any cup or something and went on to BYU's campus and just created our own little mini golf course. We just set it up and then hit it to that one and then hit it to the next one. So that was a lot of fun.
Making like pasta would be really fun, like fettuccine pasta. It's really easy, all you need is flour, eggs, and it takes like 20 minutes to make. It's so fun.
If you live near an area with a pottery store, one that like lets you paint pieces of pottery, go with a group and pick out pieces and paint them and talk and hang out. It usually takes about an hour or two and then you go and get dinner afterwards and just talk about all the fun that you had and you can go sightseeing in that area close by. We loved pottery and painting all the pieces in the little store that we were at and it was such a fun unique place to go to for a different kind of a date.
A fun group date idea that I've done in the past is a scavenger hunt where you get into a group and then you divide it into couples whether the couples come together or are mingled there together and then everybody makes a list of a scavenger hunt either around town via car or walking or anything like that and then whoever comes back first wins and it's a lot of fun and then you get to kind of know people one-on-one but still in a group environment.
One of my favorite group date ideas is to do a scavenger hunt around town and you only have so much money to spend and you go to different locations and you ask for different things. We did it on a group date for a dance and it was so much fun. We did it in our historic street area and it was just kind of getting to know the history of our town and finding some new places to go and see. We had a little bit of lunch, we got to be able to go and see a bunch of different things. It was so much fun and I really got to know the date person that I went with and got to know just the group as well and it was so awesome.
The group dating idea that me and my friends used to do is that we would all get into like couples and then we would do like a photo scavenger hunt around town. Like you either had to like run around campus and get pictures or you had to drive across town to get certain pictures and whoever could get the funniest pictures because we'd all vote on the end who had the funniest pictures as we went through them all would win and then the winning couple got a as the contestant prize or whatever it was. It was a lot of fun.
Go to the DI, buy a bunch of golf balls and some clubs for dirt cheap and dollar store and get some Glow sticks, break them, put them on the golf balls and hit them off a mountain or hit them into a lake. It's so fun
