I think that the best treatment for common cold is sleeping and drinking a lot of water. Of course, like taking up medicine or like Tylenol or like a common cold pill, well, like of course we'll treat the common cold. But I noticed those things are very temporary, like I need it. The best way to solve common cold is to change and solve your inner body, like drinking enough water and getting enough sleep. Like just by doing that, like it really helped me to treat common cold when I was struggling to get better when I had common cold. So try that.

I think we've all had the common cold at one point or another, but one recommended treatment that I would suggest is a lot of rest and a lot of liquid, a lot of fluids. So just drink a lot of water, rest your body, don't keep pushing because that's just going to make it worse. Sometimes if I have problems sleeping because of a cough or a fever, I like to take NyQuil because that suppresses the symptoms and helps you fall asleep at the same time. And then of course DayQuil during the day, but that should do the trick.

One of the treatments that has worked well for me with a common cold is taking zinc, like 100 milligrams of zinc. Once you feel the cold coming on, take those for the next several days and it will lessen the length of that cold and help you feel much better. At least it does for me.

So currently I do have a cold right now, so perfect, but I take Mucinex and that definitely helps me feel better. I also use Vicks, which is a cough suppressant, so I just put it on my nose and my throat and my chest and it makes a big difference.
