My own professors were inspiring people to me, especially one of them, for example, is Taiwanese and he's teaching, currently teaching English. I'm from Tongan, English is my second language, but he inspired me to know that language as a barrier to stop me from going further in my education. So yeah, I switched after my first semester from biology to English and I'm very grateful I did because I learned a lot of good skills, all because my professor inspired me to do my very best and not to let anybody's words influence my decision making as a student back then. So yeah, be open-minded and be inspired from other stories, even if you're professors too. Thank you.

Many of my professors were very inspirational for me, namely Michael Belknap and Chad Ford. Michael Belknap taught concert choir and he teaches other music classes too, and he is an incredible person, and Chad Ford is just amazing. He has incredible stories. He, at the time that I was there, was the director of the International, or I'm sorry, Intercultural Peacebuilding Program, which was my program, and he just encouraged us to step out of our comfort zones and to think outside the box and to really become better people, and Michael Belknap did that as well for us, just giving us tips and tools in life and not just in what we were studying, but just helping us become better.

As a political science student, I have been encouraged, supported and also motivated by my dean and all of my political science professors and so has my legal studies professors as well. And also my bosses here, not only at PCC, but BWA Hawaii, they've inspired me to focus on what's important, prioritise the most important thing that I need to do and to be able to overcome anything or any obstacles that come in my way. And I know these inspirational people have helped me along the way and I owe it all to them and so is my family.
