Okay, this one might be a little bit tricky for some people, but what I would definitely recommend to save money is go to the food bank. Don't be embarrassed to go to the food bank because food is for everybody and it is basically food that they're going to throw away anyway and it's still good, it's still great, but the only tricky part about it is that you have to have somebody who has a car to get it all back because if you try to get all that on the bus you're gonna have a hard time. So yeah, definitely do that and they will give you at least two huge boxes of food and it's good for like a month.

For the free resources, we offer free books, I mean textbooks at the library. You can rent the books or you can read it there for two hours and then you can return it back. But I think it's really helpful for you if you don't have a lot of money to buy books. You can go there and get the textbooks for free and also you can borrow the laptop and camera and also you can rent the the movies too. So I think this is really really cool though at the library. Go and check it out if you if you come here at BW Hawaii.

On campus we have a library, Joseph Smith Library. Free resources, you just go check out libraries. On IDs as well there's an amount that we can use to pay for our printing and stuff like that. So to me it's free because the school give you money, it's the church, you just got to use it wisely. Other free resources that we have is access to facilities, for example the swimming pool, we don't have to pay for anything. We could go to the gym, we don't have to pay for membership. We just have to show our IDs and stuff like that. There's a lot but those are the fun ones that I always enjoy.

This is Smith Library, and there's a section that most people don't even know about. It's the archives. And as a history major, I went up there, not frequently, but enough to do some research, but I was shocked at times that I was the only one there for hours. The BYU-Hawaii Archives digitizes and has a physical and digital collection of everything relating to the school and has an impressive repository for Pacific Island, Asian resources, and things relating to the church in Hawaii and throughout the Pacific. So if you go into the Joseph Smith Library, instead of making a right to where most people are, you make that left to go up the stairs once you pass the main librarian's office, and it's just right there. They'd be happy to show you some amazing artifacts from church and school history.

You can go to the library and borrow a laptop, or use your computers if you don't have a laptop. If you don't have books for your class, you can go borrow in the library. You can read it and scan it, and you have a specific amount of money to use to print your documents.
