Another thing I wish I knew, own your own traffic by having an email list, getting a list of people and gathering that who you can reach out to when you want to. I don't love the social media game because it's like oh I gotta I gotta do this at this time and with this frequency or the algorithm is not gonna like me and with an email list it's like obviously the more you send emails the more people will open them but I don't consider it as critical like if I forget to send an email one day I will notice a difference right and people might drop off the next time I send one but it's less painful and less impactful so definitely have people subscribe to an email list be sending out emails at least weekly to reach your audience.

I wish I would have realized that I needed to get outside of myself sooner and quicker and get it out of my own way. I tried to do everything for the business and I wish I would have realized sooner that I needed to delegate more to other people who are more than capable of doing that job and then having me focus on the most important things, the elements that I bring to the table, which is kind of running the business and growing it and building it out. And so I wish I would have known that a lot sooner and done that sooner. The second thing is I wish I would have segmented my email, the email list sooner and quicker than I did.

When you get stuck on something, it's probably because you're not supposed to be the person doing it. And I wish I wasn't so afraid to spend money. Anytime I've spent money to have somebody else do something for me, generally, it's been a good thing. I'm actually right now considering paying someone to manage my Pinterest. You know, you kind of want to, I want to do it on my own. It's free if I do it on my own, but people have expertise. And generally, when you spend money, on something, it's going to be worthwhile. Obviously, you want to make sure that they know what they're doing, they have good references and such, but I've never regretted spending money on something for my business to delegate or pass on a duty to someone else.
