I got my blogging job by deciding I wanted to blog. I purchased a domain and just started writing. And that's the wonderful thing about being a blogger is you're on your own boss. You can write when you want, what you want. That's the great thing about it. And so no resume needed, just thoughts in your mind and people to reach and people to help and a determination to keep going. Great things can happen as you build relationships and learn kind of the good way to do things. It's a great space to be in.

I would like to say that I started blogging because I had this super laid out career path on becoming a blogger, but I completely backdoored my way into blogging. It was a hobby that I started working at when I previously was a cardiovascular genetic researcher. It was a hobby that all of a sudden started to pick up steam and started to grow, and then as it did so, I started to double down my time and efforts. And so yeah, that's ultimately how I grew and became a blogger, is I kind of backdoored my way into starting a hobby and transitioning that into a full-time gig.
