My brother had autism and something that we loved and bonded over was Legos. He loved building Legos, whether they were kits or just free for all Legos, he loved them. And I remember each birthday and Christmas he would always get a new kit and we would spend the time building it together. And I, looking back, I'm like, wow, that was really cool of him to share that with me when that was his gift and his present. But he was always really good about including me in things that he was doing and thinking of me when he had something going on and that was always really cool. And I honestly think when you have a relative or sibling with autism, like, it just teaches you so much, teaches you patience, how to love, how to how to involve people, and how to be a good friend.
