The biggest tip that I would give to someone who just got diagnosed with AERD is to find a doctor that understands the disease and can help you define the treatment options that are best for you. I've had doctors that I've had to explain what the disease is and they don't even believe what it is and they don't know how to help me. So I would say look for someone who understands and knows how to treat it. For me it was my asthma and allergy doctor. For others I think it could be a sinus specialist.
