I learned early on that you don't really go to college, like a state college, to be an artist. If you go to college, that's great, but go to learn marketing, go to learn, you know, life skills that you would use as an artist, not necessarily the art itself. If you want to learn how to be a better artist, I would recommend working with other artists. You know, there's little clubs, they get together. Just yesterday here in my home, had some artists here, and we hired a little model to pose while we all painted their portrait, and that was a great resource for me because I could walk around and look at what other artists were doing, you know, how they went about doing things. Just learn from other artists themselves, work with them, ask to paint with them, go out, paint the landscape, watch what they're doing, then you can learn yourself.
