Frequently if I'm on a trail painting a landscape or out in public elsewhere painting, you know, obviously people will come up and usually they'll be complimentary, very nice, and I love talking to people when they're, you know, when we're talking about art. But it's funny to me that a lot of times, I get this a lot, some version of this, they'll look at the painting and say, for example, the sky isn't, I haven't gotten to it yet, I've painted maybe the other elements, somewhat, and I haven't put anything in the sky. And they'll say, oh, that's so pretty, I like what you're doing there. But what do you, why is the sky white? And I'll say, well, I haven't even started it yet. I haven't gotten there yet. And it's funny how often that happens. Also, I've noticed that it's really easy to sell a painting of a young woman to her dad. Good to know.
