Probably my favorite aspect of being an artist in general is I'm, I guess, afforded the opportunity to to appreciate beauty in unexpected places while everybody enjoys a sunset or a beautiful building or something like that. You know, common things that we all find beautiful. I feel like as an artist I have to, as part of my job, delve deeper, I guess, look more closely and look longer at things and I actually find great beauty in a lot of things that most people wouldn't find beautiful. A decrepit building or someone with interesting features that aren't necessarily thought of as beautiful, but I think they are.
