Several experiences with hospitalization. Some were on a general psychiatric unit for the depression that came with the anorexia. Others involved a residential stay at a accredited eating disorder center where they provide 24-hour care under the direction of a physician, both psychiatric and medical physician, therapists, dietitians, mental health workers that are there and trained under eating disorders to assist you through your time and regaining some independence with eating.
