I think what I wish I knew were the entrepreneurial opportunities in the accounting field that are available. I just recently started looking into that and there are a lot of ways to leverage what I've done for years for companies for small businesses. So I think if I had known this was an option before even going into the work world or the corporate world, I would have absolutely pursued an entrepreneurial accounting endeavor. Wish I knew beforehand about MAC programs. I think I would have taken advantage of top tier educational programs for my master's in accounting. If I had known that early on, I would have planned for it.

Something that I wish I had known earlier in my career is that how important it is to stay in touch with the people that you work with and that are kind of your age group because sometimes you think that networking is about maybe people who are older than you or higher up within a company but what I didn't realize and probably some of you do is I didn't realize that these would be my peers, like even in college, my classmates would be the people that would one day be the partners or the CEOs of companies. So how important it is to be like a good team member when you're younger and also really to stay in touch with all of those people that were in your network continuing on because those will be the leaders one day.
