Something that I don't think I realized when I started studying accounting is how flexible accounting can be. If you are able to get an accounting degree and especially your CPA license then you can work as much or as little as you would like to, is my experience. So there's been times where I've worked full-time and there's been times where I've worked 60% of a full-time schedule and then some of the big accounting firms will even continue to allow me to have benefits which was really nice. So the flexibility and I have some friends who have worked tons and tons of hours and then some that will work like 10 hours a week so accounting can be super flexible.
