There's a community of creators in the YouTube space that, you know, I got to know and become friends with several of them. And most of them are awesome people and they're people I wouldn't have gotten to know without being in YouTube. And most, most people in the space are really down to collaborate and help and those kinds of things. And so that, that was my favorite part about being on YouTube.

One of the things I love actually, because I have a channel that's kind of, it doesn't have my face tied to it. So just today, I live currently in the western United Saints. I grew up in the eastern United States. Some lady who I knew from my congregation at church 40 years ago shared one of my videos and she had no idea it was one that I put up on YouTube and it was just kind of cool. I didn't say anything, but I just love how you can have a reach and, you know, if you do YouTube, you might not be anonymous. You might have your face attached to it, but a lot of the stuff I do is kind of anonymous without my face attached to it. And I'll share videos from other people that they've agreed to let me share, but just kind of having an impact across the world.

My favorite aspect of being a full-time YouTuber is that I spend more time with my wife than I ever have in my life, and it's a lot of fun. We get to work together, we get to plan things together, we travel together for conferences, and she helps me see things differently than I would see. We definitely each bring our own perspective to things. She's not that into YouTube, to be honest, like she even doesn't watch it that much and just recently started watching it a little bit more, and I've always enjoyed it, so she brings a totally different set of, a different paradigm to it, and so that's been one of my favorite things. Another thing is I get to meet really cool people on a regular basis, and it's because I put myself out there and I make the effort to meet these people, but through conferences, through groups, through masterminds, through mastery groups, I get to meet some amazing people and have some really fun experiences with them, so those are some of my favorite things about being a full-time YouTuber.

I definitely think one of my favorite aspects about YouTube and being a YouTuber is that you can literally create content about anything. You name it, there's an audience for it. And that's so special. I love that about YouTube. It's definitely one of my favorite parts. It doesn't matter what you're doing. People are interested. And if you can really follow your passion and do something that you love, there's going to be an audience for that. And you can be able to find other like-minded people through your content. And I think that's really special.

My favorite thing about having my own channel, or channels, is that I get to do it on my own time, on my own pace. It's a completely creative process, I guess just like any of the arts, or any business actually. I consider it an art and a business, like many of the things that I do. But your time is yours, and you get paid for your own work, and there's no middleman, well except for YouTube itself, I suppose, they take their cut, for sure. But it really is a creative endeavor, and it's a lot of fun.

I have so many things that are my favorite aspect about being a YouTuber but one of them is this idea that people might look at me in real life and kind of have a preconceived notion of what I am or who I am but when they have seen me on YouTube and then they see me in real life they know the true me and so I kind of get to skip this friend making process that's always been difficult for me in my life and jump ahead to just already having friends. So I really love that. Also something that has been one of the most beneficial things in my life outside of YouTube is when you film yourself every day it forces you to take a good hard look at yourself because you have to watch yourself back in these videos and it helps you to see what things you need to improve about yourself and I think that you end up improving much quicker than you would have otherwise if you had never filmed yourself and been able to take a critical look at yourself.

My most favorite part about being a YouTuber, the creativity is all mine. I get to grasp all of the creativity that is within me and share it. That's number one. The next piece is I control how I grow. I control the future of my channel or channels if that be more than one. Having the opportunity to get up in the morning and create 10 videos for a channel or none of all is one of my favorite aspects because I am in full control and if I am excited and inspired to create then the sky's the limits for me in terms of how much I can upload and then being able to have that forever is incredible.

There are lots of amazing things about being a YouTuber. One is being able to be your own boss and choose your schedule. So if you want to take a break, you can take a break. If you want to work really hard and prepare for the future, you can do that. If you want to pursue your passions, you can have a YouTube channel about just about anything. And so it's just awesome. You can make a living off of your passion, even if it's like, you know, artsy or anything really. I also think it's kind of neat that you can have such an immense reach on the internet. You know, to think that our videos can reach tens of thousands of people every day across the globe and hopefully have a positive influence on them. Also, I think it's so cool just how easy it is relative to other search engines and other social networks to get discovered. I think the, you know, those related videos, thumbnails really helps you to get discovered easier and break through the noise.
