So in Turkey, there are these things called hammams, which are bathhouses, which sounds fun at first, but then when you find out that you're fully nude, it can be a little bit disconcerting, especially coming from America, where we are a lot more private about our bodies. And so I went to Turkey with four of my sisters, and we went to one of these bathhouses, and one of my sisters in particular was very uncomfortable with the idea of being naked and would not remove her towel. And finally, one of the ladies that was there, because they wash you, ripped her towel off and just started scrubbing her. And my sister just freaked out and was like, nobody look at me. And it was just very funny and a great experience afterwards. But in the moment, she was less than pleased with her experience.
