The only crazy food that some Tongans eat in Tonga is dog, dog meat. A lot of people in Tonga do eat dog meat. Don't ask me what it tastes like, I never tasted it myself, but I think that's the only crazy food that Tongan would eat.
You get some pretty weird things once in a while, but most of it's pretty tasty. Every once in a while you'll run across something that's a little bit odd. The weirdest thing that I ever ate, we were served a big old bowl full of raw jellyfish and it was like eating seaweed flavored jello. It was not great going down, but you know you made it work and you look forward to other good stuff later on.
