I grew up playing tennis. I played basically my whole life until I came to college and now I don't play as often, but I would say one of my hardest experiences was my junior year of high school. I was going through a really rough patch where I literally could not hit a backhand in. I'm not saying that like being exaggerating, being dramatic. I just couldn't hit a backhand in and it was so frustrating because I'd played forever. I'd done really well in state and I was just going through a really rough patch. I feel like I eventually overcame it. I had a coach that was just like, okay, you have to hit it in. I don't know. It just forced me to change. I don't know. I don't know if that really helps very much, but it was really, really frustrating and I was super frustrated and feeling really down about myself. Then after working on it for a long time, I eventually got it figured out again and still did well in state.
