The scriptures have helped me to get answers, especially the Book of Mormon has helped me to know Jesus Christ. I love how the Book of Mormon expresses the expiation, how the prophets speak of that Savior who was going to come. And I have been able to feel in my heart that this is true. So my testimony that this is the true Church, a great part of it has been thanks to reading the Book of Mormon. And to have a testimony that it is true. And to know that Jesus is the Christ, is our Savior. They also give me words of guidance, comfort, encouragement. And I hear the voice of the Father advising me through the scriptures.

Las Escrituras me han ayudado a entender el propósito de mi vida, especialmente al saber lo que Dios quiere que yo haga, lo que Él espera de mí y cuál es mi potencial para poder regresar a su presencia. Pero también las Escrituras me han ayudado en los momentos difíciles y a poder tomar decisiones correctas.

The Scriptures have helped me to know that God is there for us. At any time that we want to look for Him, not only through prayer, but perhaps also through His Word. Through the Word that He left us for these times and for future generations. I find it amazing to think that the Scriptures can help me at any time and that they were made for us to read now, and for us to have them. And everything that the ancient prophets and the ancient populations had to go through so that we have how valuable the Scriptures are in our days.

Las escrituras me dan instrucciones que me ayudan a hacer lo bueno. Cuando leo las escrituras, trato de aplicarlas a mi vida. Siempre estoy tratando de hacer cualquier cosa en el trabajo, en la escuela, y pienso cuando leo las escrituras, siento una seguridad de poder saber lo que Dios quiere de mí, lo que Él quiere que haga yo en mi vida. Especialmente cuando tengo un examen o también otra cosa que tengo que preparar, Él me puede preparar cuando yo trato de leer y estudiar las escrituras. Está como un teléfono cuando yo llamo a mi familia y a mis amigos, trato de hablar con ellos y también yo puedo hablar con mi Dios.

Las escrituras me han ayudado mucho. Siempre encuentro aplicaciones para mi vida en ellas y junto con la oración he encontrado respuestas de preguntas que he tenido en las palabras de las escrituras y sé que Dios nos habla por medio de sus palabras y sus palabras se encuentran en las escrituras.

I think that writers help me when I have a hard time in my life. I love how writers are a way to receive the comfort of God and Jesus Christ and the prophets every day in our lives. And we have the opportunity to read verses and chapters that have a specific message for all of us. And I think that this message from the writers of the specific verse can bless our lives because we have the opportunity to feel love in a different way. And that is because God has so much love for us, and that is how the writers help me.

I like to say that the scriptures are like my friends, best friends. I can't tell you how many times I've opened my book and found an exact answer, exactly what I needed. And different scriptures at different times have other impacts on my life. I mean, I read something and for the first time, if it doesn't touch me, it doesn't reach me so strongly. And then I read it a year later, a few months later, and it already has another meaning for me. I trust a lot in the scriptures. I know that it's how God speaks to us. It's how we speak to him through prayer, and he answers us through the words of the prophets, prophets who are found in the scriptures.

For me, I know that the scriptures have been a guide that I need in my life because in this life we have many tribulations and challenges that happen in our lives, but with the scriptures we can overcome everything. We can connect with our spiritual father and we can have answers to our questions that we may not be able to win without something like that. I also know that the father loves us and because he loves us, he gives us things like the scriptures and that is why we need him.

The scriptures have helped me a lot. Several times, I've been able to read the scriptures and feel that they were written by me, personally. I've read them several times, and sometimes I just read them and understand their story. But, in those moments when I have questions or doubts, when I'm looking for something, when I want to have more of a connection to God, or know what He would tell me if He were here by my side, it's through the scriptures that I've received those answers. I've been able to see verses that speak to my heart and that connect with me in a stronger way than I thought was possible. The scriptures are really the word of God.

The scriptures have helped me a lot to know that God exists and that he is a loving father. He has not left us wandering or alone in this life because he has provided us with his word through these scriptures that can give us strength, peace, guidance and comfort. It is thanks to the scriptures that I can make better decisions and make an effort to be a better daughter, a better wife, a better sister. I know that by listening to the word of God, we can prepare ourselves to return to his presence and that we can receive answers to our prayers and feel the love of God.

The Scriptures have helped me in giving me guidance, in giving me revelation that I have been looking for in my life. And my mom used to say to me, if you want to talk to God now, and if you want to hear His voice, read the Scriptures. And it really is like that. God speaks to us in other ways, but one of them is through the Scriptures, because they are His words. Because He revealed, He still reveals, His will, His word to the prophets. And in the Scriptures we can find peace and joy. And many times I have been looking for something, for revelation, for guidance, and when I opened the Scriptures I found exactly what I needed. And it can be the same for all of us. And it is like that because God really loves us.

The scriptures have helped me in many aspects in my life, but I want to talk about one in particular. During high school, one of my teachers from a religion class told me that if I read the scriptures every day before doing my other homework from school, I would be able to do my other homework faster and better. It didn't make much sense, but I tried, and I learned that it was true. And I've continued doing that since then. The blessings of reading the scriptures are real.

The lectures have helped me in the sense that I can find the answers to my questions and also that they give me peace after a difficult day. I am very grateful for the Mormon book because I can learn from other people in how they can receive strength in their challenges.
