Growing up, my family went on a lot of vacations, and one way that the neighbors would serve me is that they would take care of my dog, Benson, which I really appreciated. They would take him to their house to play, they would let him out to go to the bathroom and feed him, and that just really meant a lot to my family because we love our dog, and it was a lot easier than taking him to a boarding facility and having to pay a ton of money.

When I was little I had a couple back-to-back surgeries. I have an eye condition so I was in getting surgeries a couple times throughout elementary school and my neighbor is a seamstress and so she created a stuffed bunny for me to hold in my surgeries because each of my surgeons would let me bring one stuffed animal into the operating room so I was able to hold that while I had my surgery and I just still think about that to this day about how thoughtful it was for her to take the time to make that for me and it really made an impression on me and obviously me when I was little going through scary things but I really loved that she did that for me.
