My journal talks about the cows in Scotland and this is what I wrote. It says, as we as we toured the bus we learned that bother means, bow means cow, her means follow cows. So basically cows have first priority on the roads for travel. We also learned that urine was used to soften the wool in the old days to break down the rough fibers. Highland sheep are called beasties, coolies, and kilo. Canola is from a flower that grows in the fields and it turns yellow before it's ready to be harvested and then it turns brown to be harvested. Very interesting facts.
