Something that I noticed about my legs, my left leg, which is where I had the most pain, is actually not as big muscularly as my right leg. So I have muscular atrophy in my left leg because I've not been using it right. So that was a symptom I wasn't really aware of. Another one is my gastrointestinal stuff. I thought this was something separate, but because of where my curve is in my thoracic, it actually affects my stomach and intestines. So that was really interesting. There's so many symptoms that are connected to scoliosis. So be open and be open to wanting to find out more and not just accepting the first thing that the doctor might tell you, because it took me talking to two or three different specialists, the gastroenterologists, who explained some of this stuff to me.

Hi, I'm on early stages of scoliosis through having a car accident. Now, my first symptoms were a tearing, a tearing in the left side where I couldn't sleep towards my left. If I slept towards my left, I had complete tearing that would go right around my middle. The other thing was, is sciatica, just walking to the bus stop or just walking on a cold floor to let the dog out. Before I know it, my leg's gone. And the other symptoms also is being incontinent, incontinent of urinating. It's quite embarrassing, but it's like if you sit too long or if you're in a, if you're travelling is the worst.
