Do not be afraid to reach out for help. There are trained professionals out there to work with those of us that deal with mental health issues as well as chronic health issues. I personally see a therapist that specializes with chronic pain and chronic illness patients and I have found that to help me the most. I have battled for most of my life depression, anxiety, and PTSD and most recently was diagnosed with bipolar depression as well. I'm not afraid to say that I have to go to counseling and I have to take medication to manage these. Mental health is something that should not be looked down upon. Whether you need help or to be on medication, know that you're not alone in that and that it's okay.
