The only exercise I've come across at the moment that actually really works is dental walking. I'm absolutely fine walking on the flat, but if I have to walk up and down stairs or the hill, this is an issue. But to actually walk on the flat, I find once I've walked on the flat, it eases quite a bit. I do have a bouncy ball and to do some sitting and balancing on the ball and just bouncing gently, sometimes this helps, especially with the balance and it gives you a bit of confidence. As far, I'm in the early stages of scoliosis, but this is, as far as I'm concerned, is the only good exercises for me at the moment.

My favorite exercises are done in the water. I love the water, mainly because of the lack of gravity. Our joints, my joints, I don't have to feel it as much. It's almost a disappointment getting out of the water because it all comes back. But I do some scoliosis yoga and walking, just simple walking, getting in the water and some good stretches. My physical therapist has given me some good stretches too. So stretching is key, keeping those muscles supple so you can manipulate and they don't pull the spine even more. I have learned that for me, my muscles are pulled a lot and they get very tight. So keeping them supple is good. Very, very good.
