You mainly need to just always never carry lots of stuff around with you like I went from like a big side pack to like a smaller like satchel. At your apartment you always lock up, you never leave it unlocked. You don't like leave things like near a window because I don't know people can get into stuff that you will not like. You're like how the heck? But other than that it's really Uganda and Rwanda are pretty safe. You just don't wear things that are super flashy or take things with you I guess that will put off that vibe but also just being careful when you cross the road and with diseases like malaria.
