Russian food is a little different. We have, you know, fish soup and some of the... borscht is really good, but most of the time you can get a bad, bad tasting borscht. Yeah, there's just some strange things here and there, and my wife met me there once, and we were going around saying some friends of friends, and a key word that she learned there, that they would say, hey, would you like some of this? And she would say потом. Потом means later, but that was her kind of nice way to say, not right now. And so anyway, pro tip there, the word потом can come in pretty handy for you. Say it politely. The Russian people are very generous, very giving, and when we had their food, it was kind of scarce, so not eating when they're offering it can be a little rude, but it's a great experience.

Beware of the sausage. Read the label. If it says it's from a horse, so don't eat the horse one. Anyways, it's actually pretty good though. I ate it without knowing for a long time.

So there's a food that's called herring under a fur coat, and it's basically they take fish, like the herring fish, and then they put it with a layer of potatoes and mayonnaise, and then they put over that beets with mayonnaise. I had been in Russia when I had it for like a year, so it wasn't as gross to me, but I remember seeing pictures and it looked disgusting, so that is probably one of the craziest foods I've had.

Holidays, the meat jello. I definitely was one that did not enjoy the meat jello. Holidays, but yes, please eat it. It's It's not terrible. It's just the texture is kind of weird and the taste isn't bad Um, another thing is that they'll have pig fat that they really love to eat. They'll just like Cut off a piece of pig fat and eat it. So that was a little bit weird for me That one's not one that's like a meal. Um, it's just like kind of a little thing that they'll have you try on the side Again, it's not bad. It's just kind of weird Another thing that was really hard for me to get over Was their pizza they'll put dough and then ketchup and then sausage and pickles and yeah Yeah, it's kind of weird
