So the hardest experience I had as a roofer is also a tip I have for anyone who wants to be a roofer is like my first couple days on the job I would go to work and I would work for a few hours and then I would come home um and my arms would just be bright red and they'd be so itchy and it was because the shingles have fiberglass in them um whether that's obvious to you like if you've you know worked in construction roofing but I I didn't know I'd never worked any job involving fiberglass before but a little shards of glass would get fiberglass would get in my arms and cause me to itch super bad so from then on I started wearing long sleeve shirts that were really thick and I would come home and I would get in the shower and I would scrub all the fiberglass out of my arms um so a little tip but yeah that was a tough experience
