Since I do this very part-time, a typical day for me is get up and go about my business and do whatever I want and sit down in my chair with my tablet and my reference books if I need are close at hand and work on my job. If I need to pause or stop for something, I can and I can come back to it at any time. I love, love, love the flexibility of this and the ability to work whenever I want. If I'm super busy, I will take breaks every hour and go do something and go get a snack, what have you, and then come back to it with fresh eyes and it's nice to be able to be that flexible.
