Prayer has helped me a lot in my life, especially when I was serving my mission in Brazil. I couldn't speak Portuguese at all, and I couldn't communicate with anyone. I tried, but no one understood me. So I would pray, because God knows all these languages. So I found a lot of comfort and peace in my prayer, because I knew that God was understanding my prayers in English. Even so, no one on my side was understanding me. And I love that I can talk to my spiritual father every day when I want. It gives me a lot of peace knowing that he cares about my life, and he is listening to my prayers.

Prayer. When I pray, I feel and my thoughts are more directed to God. Every day I try to pray on my knees, on my feet, in the car, at work, and I feel, I feel very well. In difficulties, I pray. It is difficult to pray in difficulties because we want to ask for help. And this will not do well. Pray. When you are in difficulties, pray. When you are on fire, pray. God will help you.

I think that prayer is a very special thing, very important. And it's very interesting, right? God already knows everything, He already knows our feelings, our desires. But even more, He gave us the commandment to pray, to speak with Him. And prayer is an act of faith. And if we speak with our Heavenly Father, He will show us that He is there, that He is listening, that He wants to help. And I know that when we pray, He is really listening, and that He will bless us with the things we need.
