Having lived in the greater Porto area for a while, I'm a little bit biased, but Porto and the north are extremely beautiful. Lisbon is a great place to go, it's the capital, it's very magisterial, very, you know, commanding in its presence, but Porto has a lot more chilled and laid-back vibe. It's a beautiful place. One of my favorite places there is the Jardim do Palácio do Cristal, the crystal palace garden along the Duro river, and it's just absolutely breathtaking. And so yeah, Porto and the north.

Portugal is full of just cool little interesting areas to visit and it can kind of get just kind of cluttered to organize all the places you want to go and all the little things you want to do because they're not all close to each other but one place I would definitely recommend going is a little town called Nazaré. It's on the coast about halfway like north like kind of dead center just in the country but just on the coast and it's actually home to the biggest wave I think ever surfed in the world they get some huge waves there but basically it's a little town that kind of is kind of on a cliff side and then it just has a beautiful beach just all along it so you can take this little trolley car up to the top of the cliff and like look around and you get some really nice views but the beach is just wonderful they have little places to eat little ice cream shops just this little kind of seaside town that like crawls its way up a cliff face with a beautiful beach but yeah I would definitely recommend going there great views you know just a fun time
