My first impression when I first got there was just, I was shocked at how like, just nice the people are in the Philippines. Like, they just embrace you, they let you in, they don't know you but they want to feed you, and that's just how they are generally. Like, almost all of them, whether they like, love you or not really, they want to love you and share with you and feed you and hear about you, especially if you're an American. Like, if you are not a Filipino, they are extremely interested in you and they're so kind and genuine and some of the most hardworking people I've ever met. Like, they're so tied to their families, like they love family in the Philippines and they are just so deeply rooted at this concept of like, taking care of their families. So they work really hard, they work long hours to take care of their families, it's really beautiful.
