One time on our way down from Valencia to Dumaguete to catch a boat, we had to just take a tricycle, the pedicab, because there were very, very few jeepneys that would even go up there. Most of the time we had to take that down. It was a pretty steep hill and there was a big cockfight place on the way down and it was on a Sunday and there were lots of people and a bicycle just kind of came in the way of the pedicab driver. So the tricycle driver hit him and we went head over heels and just kind of landed upside down and of course broke glass and stuff everywhere and we were fine, a little shaken, but we were so grateful because we really did feel blessed.
