A few tips for success in pathology is a dedication to the art and science of the pathologic diagnosis and basis of disease. You, as a pathologist, I consider myself a doctor of doctors and my clients are predominantly doctors who have questions about patients, so they send me their tissues, I analyze, diagnose and interpret what's going on and then I communicate to the doctor what the diagnosis is or what ailment could be affecting the patient in order for them to develop a treatment plan. In doing so, customer service is really important and I pride myself on becoming their expert consultant and whenever there's a question or a concern, many of my clients have my direct phone number, they can call me.
