I would recommend anybody desiring a career in pathology to start in high school by taking as many science classes as you can, especially biological sciences, physiology, anatomy, biology, kind of an advanced health occupations if you have it available, and then in college really doubling down and focusing on organic chemistry, physics, and probably inorganic chemistry. Having strong grades in those classes sets you up for medical school and then helps you understand the science behind pathology.
