Hi, I'm Dr. Latarsha Holden, Georgia and National Mother of the Year for 2020. I'd like to share a little clip of my inspirational story that is inspiring people around the world. Within the last 12 to 14 years, I went from being homeless in the streets of Atlanta with six children, uneducated and underemployed. But by the grace of God, I was able to change my life around. I went from being homeless to running for city council in the 2017 election, from a GED to a doctorate in leadership studies, and became a 14-time published author. And I released my first Christian comic book as of last year. I want to encourage you parents that you have the power to rewrite your story. You have the power to change the narrative, not only for yourselves, but for your family as well. You can check me out. I'll be doing some more videos on here to give some parenting tips.
