My favorite aspect of being a parent is that your kids grow up and they still love you. And even though you've taken care of them for all these years, they return the favor and they take care of you. I have a lot of medical conditions now and my boys take care of me. I know it shouldn't be that way in the ideal world, but they love you unconditionally. And that's my favorite aspect, is that I still get at the end of the call, I love you mama.
My favorite aspect of being a parent is that you have love that is unconditional. And you do it from the moment they start growing in your womb and you feel that first kick, you hear that first heartbeat, and you love them no matter what. No matter what road they go down, you still love them. And that is unconditional love that you can never find anywhere else. Even if you don't like other kids, your kids are different. They're yours. And they are the best thing that could happen to you. That love, that unconditional love is everything.
