So there's lots of things you can do in Panama. You can enjoy a day at a beach at just an hour or less away from the city. In the city you can go and hike to some national parks. They're very rainforest-ish, very tropical, very humid, but they're awesome and they have awesome views. You can go to Parque Metropolitano, which is basically Metropolitan Park, and when you go there there's an awesome view of the whole city. And just right by the park there's also something called Mariposario, which is basically a house full of butterflies. And you can see all butterflies of all colors and types and shapes and it's awesome.

I would recommend definitely riding bikes in the Causeway. That's a place where you can go with your family, it's outdoorsy, there's parks inside the Causeway, there's restaurants, ice cream places, snow cones, and you can also go to Cinta Costera, ride bikes there, exercise, and just enjoy nature and the view of the city and the skyscrapers.
