A big thing that people think when they hear Panama is the canal. And that's all Panama is, right? For everyone, it's just a canal. That is a very big misconception. It is way more than just a canal. The canal is awesome though. I would recommend going and visiting there. But Panama is a very diverse country with lots of different indigenous groups, very big sophisticated city next to the canal, and a very beautiful forested country with tons of biodiversity. It's a beautiful, wonderful place.
